The NFL season might be over, but America hasn’t gotten enough of football.
The Alliance of American Football’s inaugural games Saturday posted better ratings than the night’s top NBA matchup.
Two of the league’s first games aired on CBS and were up against the Rockets and Thunder matchup on ABC. The dramatic comeback win orchestrated by Oklahoma City didn’t bring in as many viewers as the AAF, though.
According to a report from the Action Network, the AAF posted a 2.1 overnight rating while the NBA contest registered a 2.0.
