Cheltenham Festival 2021 weather and track condition

The Cheltenham Festival is finally underway and the Met Office has forecast the weather at the racecourse for the week.

For today's star-studded show of racing – with the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase today's feature race – the weather looks spot on.

According to the latest forecast, which we've compiled for you below via the Met Office, it looks like we're in luck.

Conditions are due to remain dry for the whole day, with some sunshine poking through later in the afternoon.

What's happening on day two of the festival?

The second day of the festival kicks off with top-class hurdlers tackling the Ballymore Novice's Hurdle before Willie Mullins' superstar Monkfish tackles the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase.

After that is the Coral Cup before the day's feature race – the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase. Can Chacun Pour Soi finally get Willie Mullins his first-ever win in the race?

The Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase and Johnny Henderson Close Brothers Handicap Chase follow the action before the Champion Bumper sees Willie Mullins' exciting recruit Kilcruit head the field.
