Dana White has revealed a potential superfight between Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya is the explosive bout he wants to see the most next year.
The two stars have long since been touted to take each other on after regularly clashing in their war of words, but their looming division changes mean the fight is mired in uncertainty.
When asked which showdown he hopes will come together next year above any others, White insisted it is ‘impossible’ for him not to love the teased match-up.

The UFC supremo did also admit, however, that he is unsure whether it will ever happen.
‘I don’t know if that’s going to happen,’ White told TSN. ‘I know Jon is moving to heavyweight, and Adesanya’s at light heavyweight, so we’ll see what happens.’
Jones vacated the light heavyweight title earlier this year and appears to have his sights set on seizing heavyweight glory against reigning champion Stipe Miocic.

Adesanya, meanwhile, has conquered the middleweight division and will move up to light heavyweight.
The 31-year-old said last month that he was ‘confident’ his next opponent will be Jan Blachowicz, in his bid to become UFC’s next two-weight champion.
But a scrap between rivals Jones and Adesanya currently appears unlikely after the former waved away the possibility on Twitter.
Jones was accused of ‘shooting himself in the foot’ by a fan, due to him not wanting to fight one of UFC’s hottest stars, and responded with: ‘I’ve been making millions since my early 20s, I don’t need a superfight with anyone.

‘Fighting guys like Jan and Izzy does nothing for my legacy, winning the heavyweight belt is the only thing that can bring me any higher than I already am.
‘Outside of a gigantic payday, he does nothing for me. Anderson (Silva) was the man to beat in that weight class, not him.
‘The next biggest legacy move for me is Stipe and I want all the smoke.’
