The Philadelphia 76ers are just four games into the 2018-19 season, but All-Star center Joel Embiid's trash talk is in midseason form.
Embiid dominated the Pistons in a losing effort on Tuesday night, stuffing the scorebook with 33 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks. He also dominated Detroit center Andre Drummond off the court after the game.
"I think I own a lot of real estate in his head," Embiid told reporters after the game. "We lost, so I'm not supposed to talk trash, but he knows damn well that he can't guard me."
Drummond, who was ejected with 42.8 seconds remaining in the game after picking up his second technical foul of the night, responded to Embiid on Twitter, calling the Sixers' center an actor for flopping to get the second technical foul call.
