After delivering a universally panned performance — like a disastrous rendition of the national anthem — it’s usually best to keep a low profile and let the resulting fervor die down. For the past eight months, this is exactly how Fergie overcame her overwrought NBA All-Star Game showing, which sparked a flourish of memes across social media.
But Fergie’s ex-husband, Josh Duhamel, apparently didn’t get the memo. On Thursday, while appearing on Fox Sports 1, he inexplicably ripped into Warriors forward Draymond Green, who was seen on camera snickering during Fergie’s anthem.

Green’s reaction, of course, went viral. Who wouldn’t react to this with a camera on them?
“I was pissed off at Draymond Green, first of all,” Duhamel said. “I think he owed her an apology. I thought he was kind of a prick. … Just because he knew the camera was on him, and he snickered about. I just thought that, if he would have been a real man, he would have at least called her and said, ‘Listen, I’m sorry that I caused all this.’
“That’s what a real man would have done, in my opinion.”

Green has not yet been asked about this criticism, which is mild compared to the vitriol he regularly receives from opposing fans. But if he is pressed about what Duhamel had to say, we expect his reaction would look something like this:
