Former Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Hurts went Full Saban on his current program’s social media team, when it posted a graphic on Instagram noting that Oklahoma is ranked No. 1 in the nation in total offense and No. 2 in scoring, among several accolades.
Hurts, featured prominently in the photos on the post, slid into the comments with two words: “Rat Poison”.
The backstory: When Hurts, who transferred to Oklahoma this offseason, was the starting quarterback at Alabama in 2017, coach Nick Saban, in October of that year, grew weary of the unrelenting positive coverage thrown at his unbeaten and top-ranked team.
