The Ravens failed to convert three two-point conversion attempts in a 33-28 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday but John Harbaugh believes his aggressive play-calling was the right approach.
The Baltimore coach was focused on offensive production and putting points on the board and said analytics made the decisions logical.
“The point was to score as many points as we could,” Harbaugh told reporters after the game. “Every one of those (conversion attempts), clear analytical decisions to go for two.
“I could just tell you analytically, like, if you look at the numbers, it’s not even close. So you understand in terms of the percentage of chances to win the game. I’m just telling you. That’s what the analytics say. That’s what it says. That’s how it works.”
