Azerbaijan Grand Prix LIVE: Ferrari targeting first race win since September 2019 as Charles Leclerc starts pole… but he must hold off title chasers Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in fierce battle on the starting grid in Baku
- Charles Leclerc made it back to back pole positions for Ferrari this season
- Four red flags in qualifying caused chaos but it worked well for the Italian team
- No one was able to put in a lap time to match but race pace favours their rivals
- Max Verstappen won last time out in Monaco, with Lewis Hamilton in seventh
- Formula One latest news, including race build-up and results
Charles Leclerc can finally start on pole position this season after he made it back to back No 1 qualifying sessions with a stunning run in Baku.
Damage to his car in Monaco cost him starting pole there but there are no concerns this time round as he got the better of Lewis Hamilton, in second, and Max Verstappen, in third.
But single lap pace and race pace are two very different things and Ferrari, who are chasing their first race win since Sebastian Vettel in September 2019, face a mammoth task to come out on top.
