Cody Walker was the bad boy of Good Friday.
The Souths five-eighth had a short fuse all afternoon and may be looking at some time on the sideline after a dog shot on Canterbury fullback Nick Meaney.

There was plenty of niggle at Homebush as players from both sides engaged in some argy bargy and while for the most part the aggression on show was within the rules, Walker looked like he took things a step too far.
Completing a tackle on Meaney 10m out from Canterbury’s tryline, Walker came in over the top with a second effort and looked to drive his elbow into the No. 1’s head.
Cronulla premiership winner Michael Ennis called it a “really unnecessary elbow right in the back of the head”.
“I think he’s in some trouble here,” Ennis told Fox League at halftime.
Mal Meninga added: “You could see that was deliberate.
“We talk about Felise Kaufusi and his two weeks suspended for a deliberate elbow to the back of the head, I think he’s in some serious trouble.”

Kaufusi was banned for two weeks after slamming his elbow into Parramatta back-rower Ryan Matterson earlier in the season, leaving him concussed. There was widespread outrage the Storm forward wasn’t sent off, or even sin-binned, for the shocking cheap shot.
There was also plenty of angst he was only rubbed out for two weeks and pundits were calling for the NRL to come down harder on similar incidents. It’s why Walker will be facing a nervous wait to see if he is charged by the match review committee.
The pivot was in an angry mood for much of the game. He engaged in a heated slanging match with some Dogs players on the way to the sheds at halftime and early in the second stanza, started an all-in brawl when he dragged Kyle Flanagan into a stoush, upset at a stray arm in a tackle.
Walker also showed a stack of emotion when he crossed for his second try of the match, before setting up Alex Johnston with a pinpoint cross-field kick in the Bunnies’ demolition job.
