Former AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato has revealed he’s received the first Coronavirus vaccine in America.
The 31-year-old is currently plying his trade at Orlando City, Florida, in the MLS after joining on a one-year contract in February.
Pato, who spent a very short stint in the Premier League with Chelsea on loan in 2016, is yet to make his first appearance for the side with the season yet to get underway but has had his first Covid vaccine ahead of the new campaign.

Pato revealed the news on his Instagram page alongside his wife Rebeca Abravanel
He uploaded pictures onto his Instagram page on Monday of himself and his wife Rebeca Abravanel receiving the first dose.
The caption read: ‘Today me and my wife got the first vaccine shot, it’s great to see that better days are coming!
‘If you live in Florida and are 18+ (16+ for Pfizer vaccine) you can now register online to get the COVID-19 vaccine at myvaccine.fl.gov.

Pato scored 63 goals in 150 appearances for AC Milan between 2007 and 2013 and earned 27 caps for Brazil, in which he notched 10 goals.
The MLS is due to kick-off later this month with Orlando City’s facing Atlanta United in their first match on April 17.
Currently covid cases in the US are rising with an average of about 60,000 per day, akin to what was being seen during the summer 2020 surge.
According to the CDC, 106.2 million Americans – 32 per cent of the population – have received at least one dose of the vaccine and 61.4 million – 18.5 per cent – are fully immunised.
