Arsenal face missing out on Dusan Vlahovic once again with Chelsea and Manchester United transfers reportedly ‘very realistic’. The Gunners missed out on the prolific Serb when he joined Juventus in January 2022 and look set to do so again.
Vlahovic was linked with a move to Arsenal a little over a year ago. The 22-year-old had enjoyed a phenomenal spell with Fiorentina and became one of the hottest prospects in European football.
Juve won the race to sign the striker towards the end of the January window last season. But the struggles of the Italian side have seen Vlahovic linked with an early departure.
Vlahovic has scored just eight Serie A goals this season and is apparently unhappy at Juve. The club’s points deduction is likely to see them fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.

According to CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs, a move to the Premier League is ‘very realistic. Chelsea, Man Utd and Newcastle are all said to be interested in signing Vlahovic.
“With Dusan Vlahovic, there is a very realistic possibility of a move to the Premier League. Chelsea and Manchester United are the two primary clubs who are looking at him, Newcastle have sent scouts as well in the past,” Jacobs told NUFC Matters.
“Vlahovic isn’t happy at Juventus and with their point deduction there’s no guarantee he’ll have Champions League football next season.
“The thing Newcastle need to understand if they’re going to enter that race is if he has any chronic injury problems, the last thing Newcastle want is to sign a player of that quality and find that there’s a hovering injury issue in the background.”

Arsenal might decide that they do not need to sign a striker in the summer. After missing out on Vlahovic over a year ago, they waited six months to sign Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.
Jesus impressed for Arsenal in the first half of the season. However, an injury suffered at the World Cup means he has missed the best part of three months. Eddie Nketiah deputised for the Brazilian and bagged nine goals.
Arsenal are widely expected to improve their midfield in the summer. Their interest in West Ham captain Declan Rice has been widely reported, and it is not necessarily dependent on the Gunners seeing through their shock Premier League title charge.
