Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is continuing to put his stamp on his Gunners squad, as scrutiny surrounding his future eases.
Going into the festive fixture schedule, the Spaniard was believed to be in danger of losing his position, amidst the club's worst start to a top-flight season since 1974.
But wins over Chelsea, Brighton and West Brom have eased concerns and moved the focus onto the January window.
Arteta has hinted that the upturn in form won't dramatically alter their plans, with the priority remaining on offloading players.
Sead Kolasnic has already been moved on, joining Bundesliga side Schalke on loan, while a number of other outcasts are expected to leave.
But that doesn't mean that incomings have been ruled out, as Arsenal look to continue their rise up the Premier League table.
Here’s the latest Arsenal transfer news.
Buendia's stance revealed
Norwich City star Emiliano Buendia will push for a move to Arsenal, if Arteta’s men formalise their interest this month.
According to CBS Sports, the Gunners have held informal talks over a potential deal for the midfield playmaker and is on their radar for the January window.
The report claims that Arsenal hope to convince the Canaries to sell the Argentinian by using a number of players as makeweights.
Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock are the two names mooted, although the Championship club would still demand a hefty fee.
Meanwhile, the player himself is keen on a move to north London and will inform his current club, should an official bid be lodged.
Brandt U-turn
Just days after dismissing links between Julian Brandt and Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc has now refused to rule out a possible move.
Bild reporter Christian Falk claimed that Mikel Arteta did have an interest in signing the 24-year-old, who signed for Dortmund after shining for Bayer Leverkusen.
Zorc had claimed there is ‘nothing on the table’ from Arsenal, but did admit he was aware of the speculation surrounding the player.
"I've read that too. I can't say more about it. Nobody answered, there is nothing on the table,” Zorc told Kicker.
However, after Brandt was an unused substitute in the win over Wolfsburg, the Dortmund technical director said: "My years of activity have taught me that I don't rule anything out at the beginning of a transfer period."
Dieng linked
Arsenal are reportedly one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing Queens Park Rangers keeper Seny Dieng.
The 26-year-old has impressed for the Championship side, putting in a string of eye-catching performances.
That could earn him a move to the top-flight, with the Gunners, Crystal Palace and Leeds all linked, according to the Sun.
Arteta’s goalkeeping options were drastically altered in the summer window, with Emi Martinez leaving the club for Aston Villa.
Runar Alex Runarsson was brought in as a potential replacement, but has struggled in his early appearances for the club.
That could force Arteta back into the market, but face competition from Leeds, who have made Dieng their top target.
