Barcelona have emerged as potential suitors for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of the summer transfer window. The France international could move to Catalonia, with interest made known to his agent Mino Raiola. So Express Sport will now take a look at four players that might interest the Red Devils in a swap deal, especially with the La Liga giants’ finances hit hard by the coronavirus crisis.
Barcelona won’t want to lose Ansu Fati.
But he’s a player who would definitely interest United, with the club previously being linked with the teenager back in the summer.
Fati was in terrific form for Barcelona before injury, cruelly, intervened to disrupt his season.
And he’s definitely one of the hottest talents in world football and a player who fits the profile of what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants.
Fati likely wouldn’t be offered to United, but would still be of interest nonetheless.

Ousmane Dembele is an enigma.
The France international is capable of the sublime but, far too often throughout his time in Catalonia, has left much to be desired.
Yet United are firm admirers of the former Borussia Dortmund star, who scored the winner against Real Valladolid on Monday night.
So if Barcelona were to propose a swap deal involving Dembele for Pogba, the Red Devils may just accept.
Dembele would rock up on the right wing of United’s attack, an area they’ve struggled in since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Real Madrid back in 2009.

Antoine Griezmann came close to joining United back in the summer transfer window of 2017, shortly after the Red Devils won the Europa League.
On that occasion, however, Jose Mourinho missed out due to Atletico Madrid’s ban on signing players.
Griezmann has continued to be linked with United in the time since, with the club’s hierarchy long admiring the 2018 World Cup winner.
And though he’s struggled for Barcelona, he’ll likely be an attractive name for Solskjaer’s side.
Griezmann’s versatility would enhance United’s frontline and, if they could get him back to his best, they’d be onto a winner.
Barcelona could sell Clement Lenglet this summer.
The France international has struggled for consistency and was spotted crying in his car after a draw with Cadiz earlier in the season.
And United may accept Lenglet should Barcelona propose his name enter the frame for Pogba negotiations.
Solskjaer wants to sign a new centre-back this summer, appearing not to trust Axel Tuanzebe and Eric Bailly.
So Lenglet would make sense with that the case.
Solskjaer on Pogba
Though Pogba has been linked with Barcelona, Solskjaer made it clear last week he wanted the midfielder to stay at Old Trafford.
“While he’s been at the club Paul has always wanted what is best for Man United,” the Norwegian declared. “He’s been such an important part of the squad on and off the pitch.
“Paul is a player we want to see at Man United and play well. Just to have him back fit for the last two months, he’s going to be important to us.
“We know he can be the difference between many, many points or going through in Europe like we did against AC Milan.
“The focus is now on finishing the season strongly and Paul knows what my thoughts are.”
