Gareth Bale produced one of the most hilarious moments of the FA Cup third round as Tottenham stars poked fun at Dele Alli during their win at Marine.
Alli, 24, was handed a rare start for the trip to the non-league club and picked up the assist for Carlos Vinicius' opening goal.
But the midfielder's first half was not all plain sailing, as he clipped his feet and fell head over heel directly in front of Spurs' technical area.
The amusing tumble caused the visitors' bench to erupt into hysterics, with Son Hueng-min seen laughing as Alli got back to his feet with a sheepish expression.
Meanwhile, Bale stole the show by raising his hand to herald an imaginary booking for Alli after his 'dive', causing Sergio Reguilon to burst out laughing.
The moment of amusement did not signal complacency amongst the Spurs players, however, as the ruthlessly surged to a 4-0 lead by half-time.
Vinicius scored his second on the half-hour mark, smashing into the back of the net from point-blank range in similar fashion to his opener.
Lucas Moura scored a sublime free kick from the edge of the area two minutes later, before Vinicius completed his hat-trick in 14 minutes with a fine finish before the interval.
Spurs had little trouble seeing out the victory over eighth-tier Marine, with Alfie Devine introduced at half-time on his way to becoming the youngest goalscorer in Tottenham's history after his excellent shimmy-and-shoot on 60 minutes.
Meanwhile, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho hinted at further involvement for Alli in upcoming fixtures after the Englishman made his sixth start of the season.
Mourinho said: "He was here today and of course it was not the match to measure the quality, but the professionalism and attitude and I am very happy with it.
"I will not be surprised if next Wednesday [against Aston Villa in the Premier League ] Dele is playing with us."
