The Champions League has relocated to Lisbon for a ‘mini-tournament’ beginning with the quarter-finals. Matches will be played as one-off ties as the last eight attempt to fill up the semi-final slots.
The round begins with this season’s surprise package Atalanta taking on Paris Saint-Germain, before RB Leipzig face Atletico Madrid.
Two European heavyweights in the shape of Barcelona and Bayern Munich will then go head-to-head.
Completing the quarter-final line-up is competition favourites Manchester City, who will face Lyon.

Betfair spokesperson Darren Hughes said: “The Champions League rolls quickly on as we enter the quarter-final stage, and Manchester City are in pole position to secure their first major European title, with Betfair Exchange suggesting they are the most likely winners of the competition with a 30% chance of lifting the trophy.
“The quarter-final stage throws up some interesting match-ups, none more so than that between the only two previous winners left in the competition, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
“Barcelona’s limp finish to the La Liga season didn’t quite prevent them from overcoming Napoli in their round of 16 tie, but Betfair Exchange suggests they are up against it here, with just a 28% chance of winning in normal time, and just 38% of qualifying overall.

“Indeed, it is the first time since 2003 that Barcelona have been the underdogs to qualify from a Champions League quarter-final, and German champions Bayern will he hopeful of turning over Lionel Messi’s men.
“In the other ties, Man City will be confident of progressing against a Lyon side buoyed by victory over Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus.
“City have an enormous 86% chance of progressing against the French side, and the potential return of Sergio Aguero only makes Lyon’s chances that much smaller.
“Both PSG and Atletico are expected to progress from their matches, with 62% and 58% chances of qualification respectively according to Betfair Exchange.”
