Chelsea boss Frank Lampard puts 10 players up for sale as transfer plans confirmed

Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard is plotting a mass exodus this summer and has made it known that he is willing to listen to offers for 10 players as he looks to stamp his mark on the team.

Lampard took charge of his former side last summer but the club was under a transfer ban so he could not bring in his own men.

The Blues boss earned a lot of praise for blooding youngsters into the first team while also finishing in the top four.

Qualifying for next season’s Champions League will help him attract a higher calibre of players in this window which has shown in the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

Chelsea are also in advanced talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a deal to take versatile midfielder Kai Havertz to Stamford Bridge.

However, Lampard has been told he must balance the books and any blockbuster transfer must be met with exits.

Sky Sports claim there are 10 players who the ex-midfielder wants gone.

Fringe stars Victor Moses, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Danny Drinkwater and Michy Batshuayi hardly got a look-in this year and they will be the first out of the door.

Chelsea conceded more goals than any other side in the top 10 of the Premier League this campaign so defensive trio Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christiansen are also up for sale.

Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has had a turbulent two years since his world record £71.6million switch from Athletic Bilbao.

It is unlikely any other side will be able to meet his valuation or wages but Chelsea are keen on bringing in a new No 1.

The 25-year-old will not be happy settling for a place on the bench and if the chance to play regular football elsewhere presents itself he has been told to take it.

Midfielder Jorginho is attracting interest from Serie A sides Juventus and Inter Milan and Chelsea are open to offers.

The west Londoners believe they can recoup around £40m for the Italian which will help them fund a move for West Ham’s Declan Rice.

Sky Sports add that Lampard has made his decision over the left-back position as he attempts to capture Leicester ace Ben Chilwell.

Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri have been in and out of the team this year but it is the latter who will be moved on.
