Bayer Leverkusen expect the German to play in the Europa League for the club but after that Havertz is set to complete a switch to West London.
Chelsea value him at around £73million, while Bayer Leverkusen want to net £90m for the wonder kid.

However, with Havertz keen on a move to Chelsea, Leverkusen are highly likely to oblige and agree to his exit.
Lampard is already said to have spoken to Havertz in a bid to persuade him to join him at Stamford Bridge.
According to ESPN, Havertz may not be the only new addition. The report claims that Chelsea want to sign another three players.
First of all, centre-back is an area that needs addressing.
Atletico Madrid star Jose Gimenez is on the club’s radar and Lampard believes signing the 25-year-old would be like having an experienced 30-year-old La Liga defender.

If Chelsea can’t land Chilwell, Everton’s Lucas Digne is one of the names on their list of alternative targets.
