Cristiano Ronaldo’s representatives do not think Manchester United are prioritising his signing this summer, according to reports. Ronaldo is strongly linked with a return to United, with his future at Juventus up in the air. There has even been rumours regarding a potential swap deal involving Paul Pogba.
Ronaldo’s contract at Juventus expires at the end of next season and the Old Lady are said to want to cash in on the 36-year-old in this window.
Paris Saint-Germain are the favourites to sign the Portugal superstar.
However, a romantic return to United could also be on the agenda.
United are eyeing Borussia Dortmund and England star Jadon Sancho, so may not be able to sign both players.

Dortmund have reduced their asking price for Sancho, who is expected to be allowed to leave the Bundesliga club this summer.
Speaking on the Transfer Window podcast, Duncan Castles says there have been talks between United and Ronaldo’s agents.
However, they are yet to be convinced by how desperate the Red Devils are to get a deal done.
“In their discussions with Ronaldo’s representatives to date, the representatives don’t feel that he is being prioritised,” Castles said.

“They’ve been told that United are interested but to wait and see what happens.”
Castles says United’s main task this summer is to sign a forward player, whether that be Sancho, Ronaldo or another target.
However, he claims it is very unlikely the club will pursue more than one attacker.
“There is a clear priority for [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer and his recruitment specialists, and that is that they sign a forward,” Castles said.
“Now, they have an interesting setup in that they’re looking both for a centre-forward and for a right-sided forward, but they will probably only sign one of those.
“Why? Because they feel like bringing a top talent in in that position – and they’re looking at high-price, high-quality acquisition – can be accommodated in the current squad.
“Should they bring Sancho, or another top-quality right-winger in, Mason Greenwood would move into a centre-forward role, sharing the position essentially with Edinson Cavani, and Anthony Martial would be moved out.
“If instead they go for a quality centre-forward, and Cristiano Ronaldo is on the list of potential acquisitions, as is Erling Haaland who would be Solskjaer’s preference, then Mason Greenwood would stay on the right-hand side and share that position with the emerging Amad Diallo and Dan James.”
