Jack Grealish has called Bukayo Saka a “liar” after the Arsenal star insisted he meant his goal against Chelsea.
Saka scored the Gunners’ third at the Emirates, beating Edouard Mendy with an effort that appeared to be a mis-directed cross.
The ball floated over the Chelsea goalkeeper and dropped into the far corner with Arsenal winning the Premier League encounter 3-1.
Saka was asked whether he meant the goal by Sky Sports, and said: “Of course man! He was off his line.”
The 19-year-old also reiterated the point on social media, writing: “Saw him off his line!”
Though that message was accompanied by the eyes emoji as well as a winking face with Saka’s England team-mate Grealish calling out the Arsenal star.
Aston Villa star Grealish responded with plenty of laughing faces, while adding: “Ur to funny man! Liar”.
The win over Chelsea eased the growing pressure on Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta with the victory being just the fifth of the Premier League season for the Gunners.

Arteta had admitted he needs wins and said after the victory: “It’s a really important week for us.
“As I mentioned before, some of the performances haven’t been enough tow in football matches and that is something difficult to handle over time.
“We needed the points, that is for sure, and today we have done it against one of the best teams in the league in a really convincing way.

“That shows that we are able to do it when we are at our best, can we do it every three days? That is the question mark to which we have to respond over the next week.
