Outcast midfielder Jesse Lingard has priced himself out of a move to Newcastle United due to his mind-boggling wage demands.
The disfavored Manchester United ace, 29, will depart Old Trafford on a free transfer after failing to make a 90-minute showing this season. Following a fruitful loan spell at West Ham United last January, Lingard was anticipated to join David Moyes' men permanently but instead opted to show loyalty to his boyhood club.
The England international has been on the books at United since he was nine years old but has not been offered a new contract. Instead, the Red Devils kept ahold of their wantaway midfielder, who has started just three matches since the closing of the transfer window.
Lingard had been keen to secure a switch to fellow Premier League outfit Newcastle but his mega-wages have now seen them walkway from the deal entirely.
The Telegraph state the outcast magician has priced himself out of a move to the North East as the Magpies have been put off by his mega-money demands. Lingard is reported to have asked for a weekly salary upwards of £150k as well as significant bonuses and a signing-on fee.

It is also claimed that making a 29-year-old their highest-paid player is not seen as a healthy strategy for the club – despite their Saudi-led ownership – and manager Eddie Howe would rather invest in a younger squad with the aim of steadily progressing towards Europe.
Elsewhere, previous club West Ham have moved on since being rejected by Lingard last summer and his £150k wage demands are unlikely to perk the interest of any club in the bottom half of the table.
Instead, a move abroad now seems most likely for the 32-capped England ace. European giants Juventus, PSG and AC Milan are all credited with an interest.
