Manchester United's marquee defensive signing Lisandro Martinez has proved to be an aerial powerhouse with one statistic which will blow your mind.
The 5ft 9in Argentian came under scrutiny when he arrived in Manchester, with fans heckling him for his less-than-ideal height as a centre-back, but the £57m defender has well and truly made men across the country feel a hell of a lot better as he proves size really doesn't matter. The league's shortest defender has somehow managed to win 83% of his aerial duels.
Not only had the perfectly average-sized 24-year-old been slated by rival fans, but he was also ripped into pundits, with Jamie Carragher not pulling any punches as he said on Sky Sports: "Now, we should never judge managers or players too early, but I'm convinced this can't work because the size of him playing in a back four."

According to Statman Dave, the pocket rocket is beating the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly and Ruben Dias in the air. Not only is he performing well in the air, but he's also putting a shift in with his boots on the ground.
Martinez has managed back-to-back man-of-the-match performances against Liverpool and Southampton after United's embarrassing performance away to Brentford which saw the red side of Manchester hammered 4-0 in their second game of the season. It finally looks as though United have finally turned a corner in form.
