Liverpool could miss out an a £17m bumper payment should Barcelona manage to sell flop Philippe Coutinho this summer.
Ronald Koeman would also need to ensure that the Brazilian does not become a part of his regular first team plans for the rest of the season.

Last month, journalist Javi Miguel claimed that Barca will seek to avoid using Coutinho for the rest of the campaign as he battles to return from injury.

"Barca have to pay €5m more in 7 games and that will not happen…"
