Manchester City are reportedly set to unveil statues for club legends Vincent Kompany and David Silva at their ground ahead of their clash with Arsenal, with one for Sergio Aguero in the pipeline.
Defending domestic champions City host the Gunners at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League early kick-off on August 28.
And according to the Mirror, the timeless tributes to are understood to be ready to be revealed to the public before the match starts.

Manchester City added fuel to the flames by reacting to the story on social media with an eyes emoji.
City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak is thought to have been a key driver in the club’s move to commemorate the pair’s service to the club, with Aguero’s statue already commissioned after he left for Barcelona on a free transfer this summer.
Both Kompany and Silva are thought to be chuffed about the gesture, which will see their statues placed by the East Stand of the stadium.

Anderlecht manager Kompany was a huge leadership figure on and off the pitch during his days as a centre half at City, where he contributed to the club winning four Premier League championships.
Silky midfielder Silva is still playing for LaLiga side Real Sociedad in Spain at the age of 35 and was a key cog in the City winning machine alongside the Belgian defender.
The talented triumvirate formed the core of the team which transformed City into the formidable outfit they are today, and the club are set to formally recognise their contribution.
