Man Utd fans love Diogo Dalot’s reaction to Cristiano Ronaldo in training

Manchester United fans are loving Diogo Dalot's reaction to seeing Cristiano Ronaldo in training.

The Portugal international has just had his first session at the club's Carrington complex following his dramatic transfer in the summer.

With time running out in the window, the Red Devils pulled off the biggest deal in the Premier League market when they brought back Ronaldo – 12 years after he left.

Fans have been going crazy over his arrival and have already broken numerous records over shirt sales.

And it appears they are not the only ones with players eager to get on the pitch with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

One of them was clearly Dalot, who is used to seeing the legendary figure in a Portuguese kit but not a United one.

In fresh pictures released today, they showed the defender almost in awe of Ronaldo as they walked together on in training.

The pics have been widely circulated on social media with supporters desperate to see the main man in the United kit.

And fans loved Dalot's reaction, one that many of them could relate to, having walked alongside a player who is likely to go down as one of, if not, the best players of all time.

One fan said: “He’s finally going to play!”

And this supporter said: “Dalot whipping balls on Ronaldos head it’s his time to shine.”

“Get someone that looks at you the way Dalot looks at Ronaldo,” a third posted.

Another wrote: “Nice to see two Portuguese stars in the training.”

A fifth quipped: “Diogo Dalot is all of us in this picture….still feels unreal!”

Ronaldo could make his second debut this weekend against Newcastle when they take on United at Old Trafford in what promises to be an absolute sellout.

However, a slight fitness problem might keep him from starting but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might not be able to resist throwing the 36-year-old on in the second-half to what would be a raucous sound from the United crowd.
