Man Utd told what to expect from Bruno Fernandes by Sporting manager Silas

Sporting Lisbon boss Silas has given Bruno Fernandes a glowing review as he prepares to complete a move to Manchester United.

Silas confirmed Fernandes is set to play for Sporting in their local derby with Benfica on Friday night in what looks likely to be a farewell appearance.

He is expected at Anfield on Sunday to watch Manchester United take on Liverpool before putting pen to paper on a long-term deal which is believed to have already been agreed.

The Red Devils could splash up to £60million to land Fernandes – but Silas insists he is worth a lot more.

"I've heard some people talk about money. He isn't worth the numbers they refer to, but he's worth a lot more.

"In addition to attacking, he kills himself to defend. There is no player doing what he does in Portugal and there was nobody last year either.
