No club will experience the magic of the FA Cup like Marine FC, who host Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.
Marine FC are in the eighth tier of English football and face a Tottenham team that are firmly in the mix for a title push in the Premier League.
With no fans set to be present, over 6,000 ‘virtual tickets’ have been sold while Marine have offered Spurs season ticket holders a free ticket to a game of their choice once Covid restrictions ease up.
The Crosby-based side host Spurs at Rossett Park, which is only several miles north of Liverpool’s city centre.

How can I watch it?
The match is live on BBC One, with coverage starting from 4:30pm GMT.
What is the team news?
Marine have signed Clitheroe player-manager David Lynch in an ‘unprecedented’ 14-day deal and the 27-year-old midfielder is eligible to face Spurs. The Northern Premier League North West Division is suspended so Clitheroe are not playing and Lynch is not cup-tied.
Spurs could field a particularly strong side as they target cup success. Gareth Bale has asked to play after recovering from a calf problem, but midfielder Giovani lo Celso misses out due to a hamstring injury.
Predicted line-ups
Marine: Passant, Davies, Miley, Raven, Joyce, Doyle, Hmami, Barrigan, Kengni, Cummins, Touray
Tottenham: Hart, Doherty, Rodon, Tanganga, Davies, Winks, White, Lucas, Alli, Bergwijn, Vinicius
Odds
Marine: 40/1
Draw: 20/1
Tottenham: 1/50
Prediction
Marine’s run is a truly magical story, and highlights the unique nature of the FA Cup as they prepare to take on some of the best players in the Premier League. However, Spurs are set to name a strong side with key players either on the field or waiting patiently on the bench, so I think Marine’s journey ends here. 0-3 Tottenham.
