Borussia Dortmund do not want to sell Erling Haaland this summer, according to the player’s agent Mino Raiola. Manchester United are strongly linked with a move to sign the Norway international. Haaland is also attracting interest from Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea, as well as La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Haaland has scored 34 goals in 33 appearances in his first full season at Dortmund.

The 20-year-old became the fastest player to 20 career Champions League goals earlier this term, reaching the feat in just 14 games.

Haaland has a release clause of around £65million (€75m) which comes into effect in the summer of 2022.

So clubs are looking to make a move a year early to beat rivals to his signature, with Dortmund valuing the player at around £130m.

But Raiola has spoken to the Bundesliga side and discovered they are not keen on selling Haaland in 2021.

However, he says he does not necessarily agree with the stance.

“I can confirm that I was in Dortmund for talks,” Raiola told Sport1.

“Michael Zorc made it clear to us that BVB does not want to sell Erling this summer.

“I respect that opinion, but what does not automatically mean that I also agree.

“BVB were very clear in their views. We are okay with that.”

Raiola insisted there is no issue between him, Haaland and Dortmund.

“There is no war between us and BVB – absolutely not!,” he added.

“The relationship with Zorc, Hans-Joachim Watzke and Kehl is still good.”

Raiola is often criticised for his methods but he says he takes no notice of what is written about him.

He continued: “There is a lot of nonsense written about me. But I don’t care.

“I will never talk about talks or negotiations in the media.

“I only talk about that with my players, their families and the respective clubs.”

Meanwhile, West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady claims agent fees could cause a stumbling block over a move for Haaland this summer.

“Make no mistake about it, money is the critical factor,” Brady wrote in her column for The Sun.

“Daddy Haaland and his Italian mate are looking for, it is reported, £25m each in agent fees.

“Should this or the transfer fee prove beyond the reach of clubs, then Erling will remain at Borussia Dortmund for a season more.

“Dortmund spotted a big earner by astute operation in the teen market.”
