Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Argentine duo Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo can leave Manchester United.
United have decided not to renew the contracts of either player when they run out at the end of June, and would prefer Romero and Rojo to find new clubs in the January transfer window.
Romero was left out of United’s Premier League squad after a move to Everton fell through in October.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper, who has returned to the UK after spending Christmas in Argentina, has been linked with Inter Miami and Boca Juniors but may stay at United until the end of the season and leave as a free agent.
Rojo has not played for United for 14 months after spending last season on loan at Estudiantes. The 30-year-old defender has remained in Argentina as he tries to find a new club.
‘Both of them have contracts until the summer and they’re not going to be extended. We’re looking for them to find clubs,’ said Solskjaer.
‘Marcos has been given time to go home, so he’s still in Argentina. Sergio has been back home as well to see his family but he’s in England now.
‘They’re professionals, they’re working hard and ready if they are called in for us. Marcos will have to travel and do the quarantine before though.’

Odion Ighalo is another United expected to leave when his loan from Shanghai Shenhua runs out at the end of the month.
The Nigerian striker has made only two starts this season in the Carabao Cup and will be in the squad for Saturday’s FA Cup tie against his old club Watford, although he is likely to be on the bench.
‘It’s special for Odion against Watford,’ said Solskjaer. ‘He will be involved. He’s in the squad and he’s been training really well. He was the top scorer by a mile in the round robin in training today.
‘It’s been difficult for him to be out of the squad as many times because he did really well up until the summer. This season he’s not had as many opportunities but he hasn’t let himself down as a professional and a human being.
‘He’s a positive influence in the dressing-room. Hopefully I don’t need to put him on because we need goals, but hopefully he can join in.’
Solskjaer has no doubt that United will bounce back from the disappointment of Wednesday’s Carabao Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City.
‘The reaction has been as expected,’ he added. ‘You’re disappointed when you go out, we wanted to go one step further but we’ve shown many times this season that we can bounce back after disappointments.
‘We did it after the defeats to Arsenal and Tottenham, and after going out of the Champions League. The boys have reacted well.
‘We go into the next game wanting to win this, and we enter this competition wanting to win. There are a few players with knocks and there will be a few changes, but we’ll still field a team I’m confident in.’
United will be looking to bounce back from their midweek EFL Cup semi-final loss to Man City
