Roma goalkeeper Pau Lopez is reportedly attracting interest from the Premier League with Chelsea, West Ham and former club Tottenham the interested parties.

Spanish international Lopez only moved to the Serie A club last summer for £22.8m (€23.5m), after an excellent season at Real Betis.

The report details that Roma could part with their goalkeeper for around £36m (€40m).

Lopez, who was won two caps at international level, played for Spurs in the 2016-17 season, on loan from Espanyol.

However, he failed to make a single competitive appearance at the north London club, with Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm ahead of the Spaniard in the pecking order.

But Spurs are said to be considering giving Lopez a fresh opportunity as back-up to Lloris, while Chelsea see him as potential competition with current keepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero.

West Ham is the team where Lopez would be most likely to play regularly, and would battle for the No 1 spot with Lukasz Fabianski.

Last season, Lopez missed just five league games playing for Real Betis in La Liga, as Quique Setien – now manager of Barcelona – led the side to tenth in the table.

This season, Lopez has made 34 appearances in all competitions, but he has kept just nine clean sheets.
