Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Luka Modric and Co all took part in the session at the training ground in Valdebebas.

Caretaker manager Santiago Solari will be looking to get the club back on track in his first league match in charge on Saturday.

B-team coach Solari has been put in temporary charge and has three games to state his case for taking on the role permanently.

The 42-year-old was in the dugout for Madrid’s 4-0 win over Melilla in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night.

Madrid are two points behind Real Valladolid as they look to end their run of five league matches without a win.
