Rio Ferdinand has predicted Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka will forge a "scary" relationship after Arsenal's Boxing Day win over Chelsea.
Mikel Arteta's Gunners have been very poor this season and are floating just above the relegation zone after 15 games played.
But on Saturday afternoon Arteta surprised Frank Lampard and Chelsea by fielding a young team, and looked on as his side got an unlikely result at the Emirates.
Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand liked what he saw from Arsenal, and in particular young Brazilian striker Martinelli and England international Saka.
"I watched Martinelli at Bournemouth away last season," Ferdinand told FIVE.

"Him and Saka together, they have a link up and a relationship that's already there that I think in years to come will be a scary relationship. Scary!
"They work so well together. And Tierney as well backing it up. But Martinelli, I have to say is going to be a tremendous footballer. Top player.
"He has come back into this team and he is showing what all the fuss was about before. He is going to be a huge, huge player. Massive talent. I just hope he can stay fit. Saka, him as well."
Arsenal were in action against Brighton on Tuesday night, and ran out 1-0 winners over the south-coast team to move up the Premier League table.
