Sheffield Wednesday are continuing to explore a deal for Sam Hutchinson.
The 31-year-old left Wednesday in the summer to join Cypriot side Pafos but cancelled his contract there as Tony Pulis showed interest in bringing him back to Hillsborough.
Pulis was sacked last week and chairman Dejphon Chansiri confirmed they had discussed a deal for Hutchinson though he raised concerns about the midfielder’s fitness.

Hutchinson, who came through the youth ranks at Chelsea, played over 150 times for Wednesday between 2013 and 2020, scoring five times during his seven seasons at Hillsborough.
Meanwhile, another former Wednesday midfielder Kieran Lee, is discussing a move to Bolton Wanderers.
The 32-year-old has been a free agent since the summer after over 200 appearances for Wednesday having joined the club the year before Hutchinson.
