Erling Haaland is one of the most in-demand players in world football, with the prolific young forward linked with a whole host of top European clubs.

The 20-year-old has netted 33 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund so far this season and could be set for a move away in the summer.

Dortmund are currently fifth in the Bundesliga and in real danger of failing to qualify for next season's Champions League, with fourth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt four points above them.

The club's sporting director Michael Zorc has admitted that they are prioritising league results for the remainder of the campaign in a bid to keep top stars like Haaland from wanting to leave.

"I have never seen someone like him [Haaland]," Zorc said. "We can search Europe-wide. If he ever left us somewhere, there would only be a handful of clubs, but we'll try to keep him as long as possible for sporting reasons.

"We don't want to play in the Europa League on Thursdays. We want to give our calling card in the Champions League."

However, should they miss out on a spot in Europe's elite tournament, Haaland could end up departing.

Chelsea are one of the clubs who have been heavily linked with the forward but, according to Bild, it is unlikely that Dortmund will allow Haaland to join the Blues.

Manager Thomas Tuchel is said to have been promised a big-name addition in the summer but his acrimonious departure as Dortmund boss in 2017 means the Bundesliga side do not want to sell Haaland to Chelsea.
