Top five training goals you’ve never seen after Erling Haaland stunner

Erling Haaland threatened to break the internet and the net with a goal in Norway training this week.

The deadly Borussia Dortmund striker gave the goalkeeper no chance with a thunderous left-footed volley before his nation's final match of the international break against Gibraltar.

Haaland, 21, has unsurprisingly gone viral after posting the remarkable finish on social media.

But what about the other incredible training goals that have been caught on camera?

Here, Daily Star Sport takes a look at five incredible training goals you may never have seen…

What is the best training goal you have ever seen? Let us know in the comments below

Lionel Messi

It will hardly come as a surprise to see that arguably the world's most gifted footballer has netted some stunning goals in training.

The six-time Ballon d'Or winner could have his own TV show dedicated to training goals alone, and an individual effort in a Barcelona mini session was arguably his finest.

Messi weaved round five players in a tight space before nutmegging the 'keeper with a low effort at the near post.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo delivers when the footballing world or no-one is watching.

The overhead kick for Real Madrid against Juventus in 2018 will go down as one of the Champions League's greatest ever goals.

And the Portuguese icon repeated the acrobatic technique in Los Blancos training, as he was again found by Daniel Carvajal and fired past 'keeper Kiko Casilla.

Manchester United fans won't be able to contain their excitement if he pulls off a similar strike in the famous red shirt.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Master of the acrobatic efforts, Ibrahimovic has pulled off finishes in his illustrious career that some players could only dream of.

The legendary Swede has been stunning crowds in a professional career spanning over 20 years, but plenty of special goals also came behind closed doors.

And one clip shows Ibrahimovic during his time at PSG, reaching high with his right foot before somehow finishing with a lobbed effort over the 'keeper with his heel.

Arjen Robben

Like Haaland, Robben possesses one of the most deadly left foots in recent memory.

The Bayern Munich legend announced his retirement from football this summer after a special career.

He scored some memorable goals, including the Champions League final winner against Dortmund at Wembley in 2013.

But some Robben fans won't have seen an audacious 'Rabona' volley completed in Bayern training.

The Dutchman nonchalantly used the skill to score in a shooting drill and looked unbothered after scoring such a stunner.

Xherdan Shaqiri

Xherdan Shaqiri may not be remembered as one of the elite players but he has certainly scored some elite goals.

The Switzerland star signed for Lyon from Liverpool this summer after three years at Anfield, but this unique training goal came whilst at Inter Milan.

In a small practice game, Shaqiri rounded the 'keeper before curling home from an impossibly tight angle to score in style.
