Jake Paul has mocked Conor McGregor following his defeat Dustin Poirier with a new fight offer.

It comes moments after the Irishman was handed the first knockout defeat of his career following a brutal flurry of punches at UFC 257.

McGregor was the overwhelming favourite to come out of the contest with an easy win.

But instead, Poirier came out with a point to prove, exacting revenge on the defeat to Notorious he suffered in 2014.

And it was a chance for YouTube star Jake Paul to ramp up his war of words with McGregor.

Prior to the clash, the 24-year-old tried to tempt the Irishman into a boxing match by offering him $50m.

But in a new video, he has taken that offer off the table and instead put a new derisory bid in of just $10,000.

On social media with his pals in the background watching the fight, he said: "Hey guys, I got 10,000 dollars for you in cash! Cash baby! You had 50 million dollars!"

Captioning the tweet, he wrote: "Aye @thenotoriousmma INSTEAD of $50 MILLION I GOT $10,000 for you now. CASH THO!! ALL CASH!" along with a number of laughing face emojis.

In his post-match interview, McGregor admitted that a calf kick he suffered was the beginning of the end for him on Fight Island.

He said: "That low calf kick was very good, my leg was dead and I wasn't as comfortable as I wanted to be.

"Dustin is some fighter. I have to dust it off and come back and that is what I will do.

"I need activity guys come on, you don't get away with being inactive in this business.

"I'll take my licks, I am gutted man I put in so much work. It's a tough one to swallow.

"I would have liked to represent my team better but i'm gonna chill with my kids and that is it."
