Tottenham are reportedly close to agreeing the exits of Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez. But the departure of the latter could hurt Ange Postecoglou if he suffers defensive injuries between now and January.

Ndombele hasn’t featured at all for Tottenham since returning from his loan spell at Napoli in the summer. The Frenchman didn’t feature in any of the pre-season friendlies and has not been in a match-day squad so far in the new campaign.

Sanchez has entered the final year of his contract and has been linked with an exit throughout the summer. The Colombia international has made two outings under Postecoglou, coming on as a substitute on the opening day against Brentford before playing the entirety of the Carabap Cup loss to Fulham.

Sanchez missed the only penalty in the shootout defeat at Craven Cottage. That is now set to be his final kick of a ball in a Tottenham shirt.
