The club snubbed an offer from the Saudi Pro League to let Sancho leave this week. The 23-year-old has struggled to make his mark since joining United for \u00a373million from Borussia Dortmund two years ago and might have left this summer.<\/p>\n<p>United had the chance to cash in on the winger this summer after Sancho was linked with a late move to Saudi Arabia before the transfer window closed on Thursday. Erik ten Hag has now been accused of destroying the youngster\u2019s value after the Dutchman said that the player was left out of his squad to face Arsenal due to his lack of effort in training.<\/p>\n<p>Sancho refuted the comments from his boss with a lengthy statement on social media. The public row could result in Sancho\u2019s value dropping considerably when the transfer market re-opens in January.<\/p>\n<p>In a column for the Daily Mirror, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler said: \u201cI don\u2019t know the ins and outs of it, but it seems to have blown up before the transfer window closed. And to me, Manchester United have not really played this properly, with what appears to be quite a bit of briefing against their player.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/67\/590x\/secondary\/Jadon-Sancho-4951407.jpg?r=1694255592483\"><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the manager doesn\u2019t fancy him as a player, then fair enough. But these days, you don\u2019t have to make players outcasts to get rid of them. Loyalty is a two way street. If a player signs a contract, clubs expect them to honour it when it suits them, but not if they get rid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think United need to step back and have a look at their handling of the situation.
