Bukayo Saka was substituted with an injury during Arsenal’s Champions League clash against Lens on Tuesday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He was taken from the field in the 34th minute of the match and is the second time in two matches that he’s suffered a knock.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It didn’t look good for the English winger either, who was seen wincing in pain as the physio team arrived onto the pitch to treat him.<\/p>\n
He left the field early during Arsenal’s 4-0 win against Bournemouth on Saturday, but had returned to training on Monday in what was a huge boost to Mikel Arteta’s side, with a monumental clash against Manchester City coming up at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 22-year-old had provided the assist to tee up Gabriel Jesus, who had also returned to training on Monday, for Arsenal’s opener against the Ligue 1\u00a0outfit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s the second injury he has picked up in two games with Arsenal set to take on Man Cityon Sunday<\/p>\n

Lens pulled another back through Adrien Thomasson, before Elye Wahi placed the ball past David Raya in goal to put the hosts 2-1 up.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But once again, his fitness is in doubt, with Martin Keown lauding the 22-year-old on TNT Sports during the match. He said: ‘He’s a wonderful talent, no doubt about that.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘He draws players in to contact. I\u2019m worried about this one though… is it his hamstring?<\/p>\n

After he was injured at the weekend, Saka returned to training in a huge boost to Arteta’s side<\/p>\n
‘And with Man City coming up at the weekend they got him out of there as quick as possible and fingers crossed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘But you know, it’s the workload in games. We had the World Cup to prepare for this time last year and successive seasons.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘He’s such a young man, so they have to protect him and that’s a big loss if he is unavailable at the weekend.’<\/p>\n
Saka has been pivotal for the Gunners this season, returning four goals and three assists across his last eight appearances across all competitions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
