Chelsea hope to have their newly-sponsored kit available for fans to buy in time for their meeting with Arsenal after the international break.

Chelsea’s deal with US-based data company Infinite Athlete was finally confirmed on Saturday, the two parties striking a front of shirt sponsor agreement for the remainder of the season worth more than £40m.

Following announcement of the partnership the club’s women’s and men’s sides wore the shirts, complete with new branding, for their last games against Tottenham and Fulham respectively.

Before then Chelsea were wearing sponsor-free shirts. They went down well and fans have been able to buy those while the club waited to clear up the sponsorship situation.

The plain shirts are set to remain available to buy from outlets who still have them in stock.
