{"id":293348,"date":"2023-10-13T12:25:13","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T12:25:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportslifetale.com\/?p=293348"},"modified":"2023-10-13T12:25:13","modified_gmt":"2023-10-13T12:25:13","slug":"logan-paul-v-dillon-danis-is-off-claims-the-mma-fighter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportslifetale.com\/boxing\/logan-paul-v-dillon-danis-is-off-claims-the-mma-fighter\/","title":{"rendered":"Logan Paul v Dillon Danis is OFF, claims the MMA fighter"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Logan Paul v Dillon Danis is OFF, claims the MMA fighter after insisting that his opponent did not turn up on time to be weighed&#8230; but Paul has proven he HAS been on the scales<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Logan Paul is set to face off against Dillon Danis on Saturday in Manchester\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>However, Danis has accused his opponent of breaking rules around the weigh-in<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>He claimed the fight should now be cancelled as a result of Paul&#8217;s actions\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dillon Danis has claimed his hotly-anticipated fight with Logan Paul should be cancelled after accusing his opponent of breaking the rules surrounding their weigh-in.<\/p>\n<p>The MMA fighter and Youtuber-turned-boxer co-headline the highly anticipated night of boxing in Manchester on Saturday alongside KSI\u00a0and Tommy Fury.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The build-up to the fight has been shrouded in controversy with Danis executing a staggering campaign of personal attacks on Paul, while\u00a0he then\u00a0struck him in the\u00a0face with a microphone\u00a0at their final press conference.<\/p>\n<p>However, it may not even go ahead at all after Danis launched a series of posts on social media insisting Paul had breached regulations over their bout.<\/p>\n<p>Replying to some earlier trash talk from Paul, Danis had said: &#8216;Fights off you missed weight.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/12\/76517439-0-image-a-5_1697196591461.jpg\" height=\"422\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Dillon Danis has claimed his hotly-anticipated fight with Logan Paul should be cancelled after accusing his opponent of breaking the rules of their weigh-in<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/12\/76517459-0-image-a-6_1697196611144.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>He insisted his arch-enemy Paul had missed the 11AM deadline to complete his weigh-in\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Paul then replied with a video of him on the scales coming in at 194.3lbs which caught the ire of his opponent who said: &#8216;He claims he made weight, but it doesn&#8217;t count. The rules are the rules.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;If he wants to be viewed as a genuine boxer, he needs to follow the 11 o&#8217;clock deadline. Look at the time he posted. It&#8217;s not fair; I had to follow the rules, and he isn&#8217;t an exception.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>He continued in another post: &#8216;The commission&#8217;s rules state that weigh-ins are between 10 and 11. If you miss the 11 o&#8217;clock deadline, you&#8217;ve missed weight. I weighed in at 10:15, but Logan still hasn&#8217;t.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The commission said that if he doesn&#8217;t arrive by the 11am deadline, the fight is off. He missed the weight, but then called misfits and changed the rules to give himself an extra hour.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;We should be on an even playing field, he shouldn&#8217;t get special treatment. He\u2019s already got more juice than Tropicana. He missed the weight, plain and simple. They\u2019re trying to handicap me as much as possible.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Danis then went on to add: &#8216;This isn\u2019t complaining. What is fair is fair. No drug tests, breaking the weigh-in rules \u2013 I ain\u2019t nobody\u2019s b****. I run the show. F***Logan Paul.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;This fake commission is paid for by KSI and Misfits. They do whatever they say to get paid. This whole thing is a bunch of bulls***.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/12\/76518069-12627419-image-a-19_1697197417910.jpg\" height=\"104\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/12\/76517149-0-image-a-1_1697196188202.jpg\" height=\"411\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/12\/76517151-0-image-a-2_1697196191079.jpg\" height=\"636\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Danis launched into a tirade of posts on social media outlining what Paul had done wrong<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/10\/13\/12\/76518071-12627419-image-a-20_1697197421212.jpg\" height=\"667\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>However, Paul proved he had been on the scales, with the WWE star coming in at 194.3lbs<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, ahead of the fight, rapper Drake bet \u00a3696,000 on\u00a0Paul\u00a0to prevail against Danis, with the &#8216;One Dance&#8217; star potentially earning around \u00a31.1million if successful.<\/p>\n<p>However, this again caught the ire of Danis who slammed the prediction as he\u00a0wrote on X, formerly Twitter:\u00a0<span>&#8216;850 on my head is disrespect.&#8217;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Danis&#8217;
