Jones was examined before Sunday&#8217;s overtime loss to the New York Jets.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post first reported the news.<\/p>\n<p>Jones has missed the past three games after suffering a neck injury in Week 5. NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported over the weekend that Jones was dealing with significant weakness on his left (non-throwing) side that led to his elongated absence. Undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito took his first NFL snaps Sunday.
