Manchester United’s Champions League match against Copenhagen was halted temporarily after somebody ran on the pitch holding a Palestine flag.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Play was halted nine minutes in when the individual ran around on the pitch for around a minute before stopping on the touchline, where stewards seized him.<\/p>\n
He ran around in both halves waving the large Palestine flag before stopping inside United’s half.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘Stop the killing of children in Gaza. Let’s stand together,’ the flag read.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
United were already 1-0 up at that stage thanks to Rasmus Hojlund’s early goal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Danish striker scored against his former club after three minutes following a pass from Scott McTominay, then went on to add a second 28 minutes in.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Not long after the supporter ran on the pitch, play was stopped again as United subbed off an injured Jonny Evans for Raphael Varane.<\/p>\n
Play was also halted after 18 minutes after a fan collapsed at the side of the pitch.\u00a0<\/p>\n
While they received medical attention, a screen was put around the fan.<\/p>\n
It took place at the same venue, the Parken Stadium, at which Christian Eriksen collapsed after having a heart attack during Euro 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n
