Can you remember a couple of weeks ago when he and [Raheem] Sterling were fighting over a penalty and he was like no, I am taking this.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;To take a penalty in the 95th minute. I am gutted.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Palmer spent 12 years at the Etihad, making his way through the junior ranks and eventually turning out 41 times for Guardiola&#8217;s team.\u00a0The City boss revealed that the winger had rejected his offer of more playing time in favour of a move to Stamford Bridge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A decision Richards agreed will be beneficial for his development, in light of the treble winners&#8217; plethora of attacking options.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8216;I think it was right for him because he is not going to a team that isn\u2019t going to challenge, he has got a great manager and he\u2019s at a club that is going to spend a lot of money. He\u2019s becoming the main man.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;He was never going to be the main man at Manchester City.\u00a0We have talked so much about [Phil] Foden and if he can become that and it\u2019s taken him a while and he\u2019s dipped in form a little bit &#8211;
