France have flexed their Euro 2024 muscle by hitting Gibraltar for SEVEN in a stunning first half display from Didier Deschamps side.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The French have already qualified for next summer’s tournament from Group B, but showed their ruthless streak by scoring seven first half goals from seven different scorers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It took just three minutes for Deschamps side to open the scoring, as Gibraltar defender Ethan Santos put the ball into his own net to give the hosts the perfect start.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A minute later Marcus Thuram doubled their lead before a moment of French football history was made by debutant Warren Zaire-Emery.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In starting the game the PSG teenager became the youngest post-war international, and it took him just 16 minutes to become the nation’s youngest-ever goal-scorer, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Unfortunately his night would end early as he suffered an injury whilst scoring his history-making goal and was forced off after just 20 minutes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Undeterred, France made it 4-0 from the penalty spot when Kylian Mbappe slotted home, while things went from bad to worse for the away side as the unfortunate Santos was then shown a red card.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Three goals in four first half minutes then saw France run riot on Gibraltar, with\u00a0 Johnathan Clauss, Kingsley Coman and substitute\u00a0Youssouf Fofana netting before the break.\u00a0<\/p>\n
