    Everton fans marched to Goodison Park protesting the "corrupt" Premier League before their clash with Manchester United.<\/p>\n

    Thousands of supporters gathered before the late kick-off on Sunday (November 26) to make their feelings known about the 10-point deduction they received during the international break, which dropped them down to 19th in the table.<\/p>\n

    Pink cards with the Prem logo and the word corrupt below it were handed out to those taking part, while many arrived with their own banners. One read: "Every move you make, every point you take, every smile you fake, every claim you stake, we'll be watching you!!!!"<\/p>\n

    Another was hung from nearby pub The Brick which said: "Where there is power, greed and money… there is corruption." And one carried by a child had the message: "All I want for Christmas is our 10 points back."<\/p>\n

    The march made its way down County Road towards the ground, where the protests continued inside. ahead of kick-off. A sea of pink covered the stands and the home fans booed the Premier League anthem as the teams made their way out onto the pitch.<\/p>\n

    Everton were docked 10 points last week after the Prem's independent commission found they'd breached profit and sustainability rules. <\/p>\n

    They announced their intention to appeal the punishment, which is just the third time since 1992 a top-flight side has received a points deduction.<\/p>\n

    Speaking ahead of their first outing since the bombshell news, Everton boss Sean Dyche said: \u201cLike everyone, well everyone in these parts, we\u2019re shocked.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWith the wave of noise after that, it seems as though most people in football are shocked\u2026 the enormity of it, disproportionate is a word that\u2019s been used by the club.<\/p>\n

    \u201cObviously we\u2019re going to feel a bit aggrieved by that. On the other hand it doesn\u2019t change the focus. The job hasn\u2019t changed for me. It\u2019s just made it more difficult in the current circumstances until the appeal of course.\u201d<\/p>\n
