Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jesse Lingard has posted an update on his fitness as he continues to look for a new club.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-year-old is currently a free agent having left Nottingham Forest\u00a0in the summer after a disappointing season in which he provided no goals or assists in 17 Premier League appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Lingard previously spent 11 years on the books at boyhood club Manchester United, which included a stunning spell on loan at West Ham during the second half of the 2020-21 campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, despite training with the Hammers in the summer and then spending a month with Steven Gerrard&#8217;s Saudi Pro League side, Al-Ettifaq, he is still without a club.<\/p>\n<p>And on Thursday evening, the midfielder shared a training montage through his paces and working hard<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Lingard was being directed by what seemed to be a personal coach and he looked in good shape, before he finished the video by saying: &#8216;Working baby&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>It was thought he had a good chance of earning a contract with Al-Ettifaq, especially given he scored just four minutes into their friendly against Al-Khaldiya in what was the first game he had played.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, he ultimately left the club at the end of October without a deal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lingard had also been linked with a move to MLS back in the summer and\u00a0spent time training at Inter Miami&#8217;s base\u00a0in July.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0Mail Sport reported\u00a0in September how\u00a0<span>Lingard&#8217;s trial at West Ham cost the club thousands of pounds as they covered his living and travel expenses while he was training with the squad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>He has spent time training with both West Ham and Steven Gerrard&#8217;s Al-Ettifaq (pictured)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As well as putting Lingard up in a hotel for several weeks, West Ham are understood to have arranged transport for him, as he was given a six-month driving ban earlier this summer after pleading guilty to failing to name the driver of his car when it was caught speeding last year.<\/p>\n<p>Lingard spent around six weeks training with West Ham before the unsuccessful spell with Al-Ettifaq.<\/p>\n<p>Lingard &#8211; who also counts Leicester City, Birmingham, Brighton and Derby among his former clubs after several spells out on loan when he was at Old Trafford &#8211; has won 32 England caps and was once a favourite of Gareth Southgate, although he has not
