It has been 874 days since Bukayo Saka stepped up, in front of a packed Wembley crowd, to try and keep England in the Euro 2020 final.

Saka saw his penalty batted away by Gianluigi Donnarumma – and football went to Rome. However, on Saturday England have discovered their fate for another shot at European glory.

Scotland will join the Three Lions in Germany for Euro 2024, and they will square off with the hosts, Hungary and Switzerland. While Wales could still join the pair next summer if they qualify through the Nations League play-offs in March.

Gareth Southgate's side were placed in Pot 1 for the draw, and they were drawn into Group C – opening their campaign in Gelsenkirchen against Serbia.

Scotland will open Euro 2024 when they clash with hosts Germany. And it doesn't get any easier for the Scots from there with Hungary and Switzerland also in Group A.

The Germans might to be fearful of Scotland, however, with the Tartan Army proving to be a tough ask for even the likes of Spain during the qualification process. And with the potential of three teams progressing, Scottish hopes could be high.

Wales could be one of three teams to qualify through the Nations League playoff's in March. Wales will clash with Finland in Cardiff, and if they win they will face either Poland or Estonia in Cardiff for a spot in the festival of football.

And if Wales make it through that gauntlet, they will have a tough draw in in Group D that contains France and the Netherlands, who played each other in qualifying.

While Group C seems to be the group of death as it boasts Spain, Italy, and Croatia. Belgium, with their ageing stars, seem to have an armchair ride in Group E.
