<\/p>\nPaul Pogba could be facing a four-year ban from football after the trial into his alleged doping has been concluded. <\/p>\n
Pogba tested positive for testosterone during a doping test performed after Juventus' victory at Udinese on 20 August. And the Frenchman also produced a positive sample in a counter-analysis B-sample at the start of October.<\/p>\n
Gazzetta dello Sport are now reporting that the doping prosecutor in Italy has asked for a four-year-long ban to be imposed on the midfielder. A four-year ban is the most severe punishment and no plea deal has been put forward by the player.<\/p>\n

Pogba, who is currently suspended by Juve, will now go to trial with the National Anti-Doping Prosecutor.<\/p>\n

Pogba moved back to Juventus last summer after his Manchester United contract expired – but he struggled for fitness during his first season back at the Allianz Stadium.<\/p>\n
The Frenchman was named in the matchday squad for their clash with Udinese at the start of the season, but he was an unused substitute. <\/p>\n
Pogba's agent, Rafaela Pimenta stressed that the Juve star didn't want to break the rules. Pimenta, said: "We are waiting for the counter analysis and until then we can't say anything. The certain thing is that Paul Pogba never wanted to break the rules."<\/p>\n
