Mohamed Salah brought up his 200th goal for Liverpool with a fine finish against Crystal Palace\u00a0at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The forward slotted in against the Eagles from close range having netted for the 199th time in a red shirt in the midweek 4-0 win over LASK in the Europa League.<\/p>\n
His landmark comes just over six years after moving to Anfield from Roma for \u00a334million having previously played for the likes of Fiorentina, Chelsea and Basel.<\/p>\n
He had struggled to settle at any of his previous clubs but finally found a home at Anfield after signing, and has now joined an exclusive lift of only three players to have scored a double ton for the Reds.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old was mobbed by his team-mates after the strike as he thumped home thanks to a deflection against Palace to make it 1-1 on Saturday.<\/p>\n

It cancelled out the opener from the spot by Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta, jusst after Jordan Ayew was sent off. Harvey Elliott then scored a dramatic goal in stoppage time to haul Liverpool to the top of the table.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
In September, Liverpool boss\u00a0Jurgen Klopp branded Salah ‘the complete player on and off the pitch’ after he opted to stay at Liverpool despite interest from the Saudi Pro League.<\/p>\n

He just keeps himself in such good shape.\u2019<\/p>\n He will surely be full of praise for the Egyptian once again following the game against the Eagles as he etched his name into Liverpool history once again in front of the Reds supporters.<\/p>\n Salah has won countless accolades since moving to Liverpool and scoring on his Premier League debut for the side in a 3-3 draw with Watford on August 12 2017.<\/p>\n In terms of team achievements, he has won the Premier League, the Champions League, the Super Cup, the Club World Cup, the FA Cup and the League Cup while wearing a red shirt.<\/p>\n Individually, he has three Premier League golden boots, two footballer of the year awards and two African player of the year awards to his name since he’s been with the club.<\/p>\n Salah scored his 100th goal at Anfield in May of this year when he netted the winner against Brentford in May, and expressed his focus on hard work to bring the success he has enjoyed in his career.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Salah has won a number of team and individual honours as a Liverpool player, including the Premier League<\/p>\n <\/p>\n He also won the Champions League with the club and will be hoping to return to the competition next year<\/p>\n The accolade comes just over three years on from his 100th Reds strike, which came against rivals Everton in October 2020.<\/p>\n He has gone past a number of club legends on the scoring chats since then, including the likes of Kenny Dalglish, Robbie Fowler and Steven Gerrard.<\/p>\n 148 of his goals have come in the Premier League, with 42 in the Champions League, five in the FA Cup, three in the Europa League, one in the League Cup and one in the Community Shield.<\/p>\n 30 of his goals have been from the penalty spot, with seven coming in open play.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp (left) has been full of praise for his star player over the years<\/p>\n In January he will head off to the African Cup of Nations with Egypt as he bids to add another title to his long list of successes.
