Three crosses, three goals, the performance levels nowhere near good enough.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The Newcastle performance and the Bournemouth performance is probably closer to what we&#8217;ve seen all season &#8211; rather than the Chelsea performance, which was good in midweek. It&#8217;s probably a standout because it hasn&#8217;t happened that much.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/09\/21\/78776681-12845625-image-a-19_1702156284289.jpg\" height=\"317\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Phil Neville ripped into Manchester United after the team&#8217;s shocking Bournemouth defeat\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/09\/21\/78776721-12845625-image-a-32_1702156513658.jpg\" height=\"448\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>United fell to a 3-0 loss at Old Trafford and next, they play Bayern Munich and Liverpool<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=t3-rj1s6ODc%3Fsi%3DLCGtCccFkHa9NVmv<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I do feel as if these players need to start taking responsibility, need to start performing better. You look at the goals today, three goals from three crosses, just not acceptable.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I think we&#8217;ve got to get it out of our head that United have this divine right to challenge for league titles. Look at Newcastle and Aston Villa, they&#8217;ve overtaken United.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Look at Tottenham, they&#8217;ve overtaken United. You&#8217;ve not even spoken about Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool who have been ahead of United for the last 10 years anyway.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They are a million, million miles from the level that is needed to compete. Where they are at, at this moment in time, is exactly where they should be in terms of the level of performance and quality.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>It doesn&#8217;t get any easier for Ten Hag and United, though.<\/p>\n<p>In midweek, they host Bayern Munich knowing their Champions League status is on the line &#8211; although the German heavyweights lost 5-1 on Saturday in the Bundesliga.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When they return to Premier League action on Sunday, they travel to Anfield to play fierce rivals Liverpool &#8211;
